Cast: Stacey Dash (Clueless), LisaRaye ("All of Us"), Charity Shea, Kassandra Clementi, D.B. Woodside ("Hellcats" and "24"), rapper Common, Lauren London (This Christmas), Eve, TLC's Chilli
Why Watch: Because Dash is due for a comeback, and it's been too long since we've had a girl-centric rom-com series.
9pm "Franklin & Bash" (TNT)9pm "Single Ladies" (VH1)
Plot: A comedy revolving around the romantic relationships of three friends.
JUNE 1st - Wednesday
Plot: Two young, fly-by-the-seat-of-their-pants street lawyers cause a seismic culture clash when they join a legendary, button-down law firm. Breckin Meyer is Jared Franklin, who loves sticking it to authority every chance he gets, while Mark-Paul Gosselaar plays Peter Bash, who has a knack for connecting with jury and judge.
Cast: Mark-Paul Gosselaar ("Raising the Bar"), Breckin Meyer (Ghost of Girlfriends Past), Malcolm McDowell ("Entourage"), Reed Diamond ("Dollhouse"), Garcelle Beauvais ("The Jamie Foxx Show"), Kumail Nanjiani (Life As We Know It), Dana Davis ("10 Things I Hate About You" and "Heroes")
Why Watch: Three-quarters the way through the trailer, I was mildly interested. But then Meyer tries to prove a breathalyzer is faulty by getting drunk in court. It's like Lawyers Gone Wild. I'd watch for him alone.
10pm "Men of a Certain Age" (TNT)
JUNE 2nd - Thursday
10pm "Love Bites" (NBC)Plot: An anthology of modern love stories.
Cast: Becki Newton ("Ugly Betty"), Jordana Spiro ("My Boys"), and several other guest stars, like Jason Lewis ("Sex and the City"), Lindsay Price ("Lipstick Jungle"), Kyle Howard ("My Boys"), Steve Howey (Something Borrowed), Charlyne Yi (Paper Heart), Greg Grunberg ("Heroes"), Constance Zimmer ("Entourage"), Jennifer Love Hewitt, Craig Robinson ("The Office")
Why Watch: Um, this series was delayed because of Newton's pregnancy, then several actors dropped out and found other gigs, including Newton, so NBC cut down the episode order and it's pretty much canceled before it even premieres. However, who doesn't love a love story?
JUNE 5th - Sunday
10pm "The Glades" (A&E)Last Season: Jim and Callie finally get together just days before she finds out her husband is being released from prison.
This Season: Jim will get more high-stakes cases to solve, from mob killings to serial killers. Meanwhile, Callie will deal with the return of her ex-con husband and the criminals who are after him.
11pm "Teen Wolf" (MTV) [Mondays at 10pm]
Plot: It has a similar premise as the 80s Michael J. Fox film, but instead of being a descendant of a werewolf, he is attacked by one and therefore cursed. He has to figure out how to control the beast, navigate high school, and woo the girl of his dreams, all the while avoiding her hunter father.
Cast: Tyler Posey ("Brothers & Sisters" and "Lincoln Heights"), newcomer Dylan O'Brien, Tyler Hoechlin ("7th Heaven"), JR Bourne ("Stargate SG-1"), newcomer Crystal Reed, Colton Haynes ("The Gates"), Holland Roden (Bring It On: Fight to the Finish)
Why Watch: Because the wolf story in Twilight hardly gets enough screen time, and because the best werewolves are the unhinged ones—and what's more unhinged than a teenage boy?
9pm "Switched at Birth" (ABC Family)
Plot: The story of two teenage girls who discover they were accidentally switched as newborns in the hospital. Bay Kennish (Marano) grew up in a wealthy family with two parents and a brother, while Daphne Vasquez (Leclerc), who lost her hearing at an early age due to a case of meningitis, grew up with a single mother in a working-class neighborhood. Things come to a dramatic head when both families meet and struggle to learn how to live together for the sake of the girls.
Cast: Newcomer Katie Leclerc, Vanessa Marano ("Gilmore Girls"), Constance Marie ("George Lopez"), D.W. Moffett ("Friday Night Lights"), Lea Thompson ("Caroline in the City"), Lucas Grabeel (High School Musical), Charles Michael Davis
Why Watch: Because Marano is a sharp-tongue, quick-witted actress who has yet to find her breakout role.
JUNE 7th - Tuesday
This Season: According to the creator, Neal is now the greatest con man in the world in possession of the great treasure in the world, which was his life's goal. So Season 3 will be about choices. In deciding what to do with the treasure, he'll have to decide if all he'll ever allow himself to be is a criminal. And he'll explore the possibility of finding a balance between both worlds. Kate represented a white-picket-fence, clean-cut future and Alex represented a life of crime, so in having Sarah—the best of both worlds—he just might find the balance he's been searching for. As for who left the note and the treasure, that mystery will be solved in the premiere episode, either before or after Peter gives Neal a lie detector test. On the romantic front, Moran Atias ("Crash") will join the series as Diana's girlfriend, and Mozzie might get a love interest in the form of an anti-government corporate hacker.
10pm "Covert Affairs" (USA)
Last Season: Ben walks into the CIA to tell Annie the truth, we discover that Jai's dad is the reporter's informant, and Joan is offered her husband's position at the DCS.
This Season: Ben goes missing, a big secret is revealed about Auggie, Ben Lawson ("The Deep End") joins the series as an ER doctor, and Rena Sofer will play Arthur's ex-wife.
JUNE 12th - Sunday
10pm "The Protector" (Lifetime)Plot: Divorced mother Gloria Sheppard (Walker) juggles her demanding personal and professional life as an intuitive LAPD homicide detective while raising two boys, Leo (Robinson) and Nick (Ryan), with the live-in help of her troubled younger brother Davey (Gilbert).
Cast: Ally Walker ("Sons of Anarchy" and "Profiler"), Tisha Campbell-Martin ("Rita Rocks"), Miguel Ferrer ("Crossing Jordan"), Thomas Robinson (The Switch), Sage Ryan, Chris Payne Gilbert ("10 Items or Less"), Terrell Tilford
Why Watch: Because it answers a very interesting question: Can a cop be a mom?
JUNE 14th - Tuesday
Last Season: When we last saw the girls, they were consoling Spencer who had been attacked by Ian. A hooded figure saved her life and killed Ian, after he admitted to shoving Allison down. But, Allison was killed by suffocation so the question still remains as to who finished her off, and of course who the hooded figure could've been since Ian recognized them. We also learned that Jenna was being blackmailed by Allison and Ian with a tape, and her cop boyfriend tricked the girls into letting him help them so he could retrieve the tape and trap the blackmailer. On the romantic front, Aria got into a fight with Ezra after he hid the fact that his ex-fiance, who broke up with him, will be working with him at his new job. Caleb admitted to only getting close to Hanna because Jenna forced him to, so she broke up with him. When he dropped off a letter professing his love, Mona trashed it. Believing his gesture to be ignored, he left town, but Lucas proved he was a good friend after all by bringing him back.
This Season: After they tell the police that Ian attacked Spencer, the police can't find the body, so they assume the girls have made it up. Since Annabeth Gish ("Brotherhood" and "The West Wing") will join the series as a mysterious therapist who tries to find out their secrets, I'm assuming that their parents are forcing them to seek trauma counseling, believing Allison's death has plunged them into paranoia. To make matters worse, Alison's mom, Alison's brother, Hanna's dad, and Wren return to town, which might not put a kink in Spencer and Toby's budding relationship, since rumor has it they'll be taking it to the next level. However, there will surely be one in Aria's when a new guy enters her life, a guy who is the polar opposite of Ezra in every way. And while Hanna is freaking about Caleb's return, he and Lucas strike up an unlikely friendship.
9pm "The Nine Lives of Chloe King" (ABC Family)
Plot: Chloe King is a teenager who discovers she has special powers, including enhanced speed, hearing, agility, and the ability to climb objects using her claws. Cast: Skyler Samuels ("The Gates"), Amy Pietz ("The Office" and "Aliens in America"), Grey Damon ("Friday Night Lights"), Grace Phipps, Benjamin Stone ("10 Things I Hate About You"), Alyssa Diaz, Ki Hong Lee
Why Watch: If you like supernatural teen stories, you might want to graduate from the undead to the reincarnated.
9pm "Memphis Beat" (TNT)
10pm "Hawthorne" (TNT)
10:30pm "Happily Divorced" (TVLand)
Plot: It's about Los Angeles florist Fran (Drescher) as she deals with dating after finding out her realtor husband of 18 years (Higgins) is gay. Fran juggles her new relationships, while still living under the same roof with her ex-husband.
Cast: Fran Drescher ("The Nanny"), John Michael Higgins ("Arrested Development"), Tichina Arnold ("Everybody Hates Chris"), Rita Moreno (West Side Story), Robert Walden (All the President's Men), Valente Rodriguez ("George Lopez")
Why Watch: Because it's based on her real life, so we'll get all the dirt, and because Fran's always funny...even with that voice.
Watch the promo.
9pm "Falling Skies" (TNT)
Plot: Written and produced by Robert Rodat (Saving Private Ryan) and Steven Spielberg, this show takes place 6 months after an unprovoked and devastating alien invasion of Earth leaves the planet in tatters. The remaining humans must learn to work together and fight the aliens if they are to continue to exist. Former history professor Tom Mason (Wyle) as second in command of the 2nd Mass must juggle his duties as leader with his duties as a father to his 3 sons, one of whom is being held captive by the aliens and forced into slavery...or is he? By the end of the season, we'll learn what the aliens are really after.Cast: Noah Wyle ("ER"), Moon Bloodgood (Terminator Salvation), Jessy Schram (Unstoppable), Will Patton (Armageddon), Drew Roy ("Hannah Montana"), Seychelle Gabriel (The Last Airbender), Sarah Carter ("Shark" and Final Destination 2), Connor Jessup

This Season: Grayson wakes up from a coma with retrograde amnesia.
JUNE 21st - Tuesday

Cast: Michelle Borth ("Hawaii Five-O" and "The Forgotten"), Elias Koteas (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles), Terry Chen (The A-Team), Luke Mably (The Prince & Me and "The Gates"), Deborah Kara Unger (White Noise), Arnold Pinnock ("The Listener").
Why Watch: Honestly, I'm just watching for Mably. What can I say? The Brit is dashingly handsome. Besides, who really wants to watch a war medical drama in the middle of summer?
Watch the promo.
JUNE 23rd - Thursday
9pm "Burn Notice" (USA)Last Season: The team has a standoff with Vaughn and his goons, and Sam successfully rescues them with the help of US Marines dispatched by a Congressman confidant. Then men in black take Michael to DC and an unnamed man welcomes him back.
This Season: I'm pretty sure Michael is forced to rejoin the CIA, because these actors have been cast as agents he has to work with: Grant Show ("Private Practice" and "Accidentally on Purpose"), Lauren Stamile ("Community" and "Grey's Anatomy"), and Matt Lauria ("Chicago Code" and "Friday Night Lights").
10pm "Rookie Blue" (ABC)
Last Season: The season ended with the rookies successfully executing a drug bust, Peck admitting that she still cares about Diaz, and McNally & Swarek agreeing to be just friends.
This Season: Camille Sullivan ("Hellcats") joins the cast as Luke's former partner and Andy's romantic and professional competition. Hmm, does this mean Swarek has another shot? We'll also learn about a family tragedy that explains why Dov is always so gun-ho about being a cop.
10pm "Suits" (USA)
Plot: One of Manhattan's top corporate lawyers (Macht) sets out to recruit a new hotshot associate and hires the only guy that impresses him—a brilliant but unmotivated college dropout (Adams). Though he isn't actually a lawyer, this legal prodigy has the book smarts of a Harvard law grad and the street smarts of a hustler. However, in order to serve justice and save their jobs, both these unconventional thinkers must continue the charade.
Cast: Patrick J. Adams, Gabriel Macht (The Spirit), Meghan Markle, Gina Torres (Serenity and "Huge"), Rick Hoffman ("Samantha Who?")
Why Watch: Because Macht is at his best when he's being devious, and mentor-apprentice relationships are always fun to watch—and learn from.
Watch the promo.
10pm "Wilfred" (FX)
Plot: Each episode follows the story about a girl named Sarah, her dog Wilfred and her boyfriend, Adam. After their first date, Adam goes home with Sarah and meets her scruffy pet dog Wilfred, but Adam (as well as the audience) sees the latter as a human dressed in an unconvincing dog costume. The dog develops a grudge against his owner's new boyfriend and tests him to see if he is capable of being his new "daddy." Thus the unsuspecting Adam, who is keen on winning Sarah's heart, has Wilfred to contend with.
Cast: Elijah Wood, Jason Gann (the original Aussie "Wilfred"), Fiona Gubelmann, Dorian Brown ("Roommates")
Why Watch: Because it's a surreal example of the lengths guys will go to get a girl and the obstacles that stand in their way. Besides, don't you miss Frodo?
Watch Clips
10:30pm "Louie" (FX)
JUNE 26th - Sunday
9pm "True Blood" (HBO)Last Season: Sookie saves Eric from dying in sunlight, despite Bill's protests. At Eric's insistence, Sookie also saves Russell, and ties him to a pole in Fangtasia. Hoyt's mother and Summer stage an intervention to get Hoyt away from Jessica, but it backfires and Hoyt asks Jessica to marry him. Sometime later, his mother is shown buying a rifle. Tara learns that Sam is a shapeshifter and that her mother is having an affair with a minister, and leaves Bon Temps. The DEA stages a raid on Hot Shot, but Jason warns the residents, giving Felton enough time to kill Calvin and escape with Crystal, leaving Jason in charge. Lafayette discovers that Jesús is a brujo. Bill and Eric bury Russell alive in cement, then Bill turns the tables on Eric and tries to kill him by doing the same thing. Eric escapes and tells Sookie that Bill was originally sent to Bon Temps to procure her for Sophie-Anne and that he purposely allowed the Rattrays to beat her nearly to death so that he would be able to feed her his blood. Tommy refuses to give Sam back the money he stole from Merlotte's, so Sam shoots at him. After vowing to kill anyone who knows about Sookie's fairy heritage, Bill invites Sophie-Anne to his home for a fight to the death. Sookie visits Gran's grave where she is joined by Claudine and other fairies and transported to their world.
This Season: We'll learn what it really means to be a fairy. One character will come out of the closet—my money's on Tara. Cast: Raven-Symone, Majandra Delfino ("Roswell"), and Loretta Devine
Why Watch: Because Raven went through the trouble of dropping half her weight. The least you can do is give her good ratings. Plus, it's been 10 years since Delfino's been given a series to showcase her comedic talents.
9pm "Royal Pains" (USA)

Then they're whisked away by the CDC to be quarantined when Divya realizes they've been exposed to a virus by one of her patients.
This Season: In the absence of Emily and Jill, Hank gets a new love interest that might stick around for the full season. We'll get to meet his grandfather (Ed Asner from "One Tree Hill"). And no doubt we'll get to see the fallout of the broken engagement. Also since the actress who plays Paige is up for an ABC series, we'll have to wait and see if she'll say farewell to Evan at the end of the summer.
