FILM: New Indiana Jones Title

All the hype surrounding Britney's never-ending breakdown and Kanye West's hissy fit completely overshadowed the fact that Shia Labeouf revealed the new title of the upcoming Indiana Jones flick at the VMAs this weekend. It was particularly hard to have learned it because MTV "ingeniously" aired two different versions of the show and most people only watched the first.

Knowing the title is vital to figuring out the top secret plot Steven Spielberg is keeping tightly under wraps, Indiana Jones lovers must be psyched to learn that it will be called: Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. Okay, so it's a tad anti-climatic, because we don't know what the hell that means. But we do know that there's a kingdom--so there should be a queen or some kind of royal personnel present--and they'll be looking for a crystal skull. Yeah...great.

In other Labeouf news, he's just signed on for another D.J. Caruso (Disturbia) film--sticking with the man who made him--that's described as "a young slacker and a single mom get tangled up in a terrorist cell plotting a political assassination." He'll be starring alongside Michelle Monaghan (Mission Impossible III) and Rosario Dawson (Sin City).
