I pretty much jump on board whenever Sandler or Apatow are involved in any comedy. But I do have to admit that after reading the synopsis to this one, I was a little wary of forking over $11. Sandler specializes in doing preposterous parts, from trying to adopt his best friend's illegitimate son (Big Daddy) to marrying his best friend for life insurance (I Now Pronounce you Chuck and Larry). And Apatow specializes in glorifying hopeless buffoons (40 Year Old Virgin, Knocked Up, Walk Hard, etc.). So naturally, this comedy wasn't going to be any saner. In You Don't Mess with the Zohan, Sandler plays an Israeli Intelligence Agent who fakes his own death so he can become a hair dresser in New York. He becomes so popular that he starts to get press, which would sort of be bringing him back from the dead. And in Sandler tradition, Rob Schneider cameos as a cab driver who tries to get the reward of turning him in and Emmanuelle Chriqui ("The Entourage") stars as his hot love interest. After you watch the trailer, you'll gladly cough up the loot. Release Date: June 6, 2008
