After listening to Kelly Rowland's 2007 release, Ms. Kelly, and Ciara's 2006 release, The Evolution, I determined that only a few songs were worthy of downloading. But my favorites off their album, Rowland's "Work (Put It In)" and Ciara's "That's Right" featuring Lil Jon were the ones that I hoped would be released as singles so that there would be videos with killer dancing. Both songs have rapid beats that would be a choreographer's dream to move to. I got my wish. Not only were both songs released as singles, but their videos premiered in the same week. I was excited to see what the ladies had come up with to suit the beats and I was more than underwhelmed when i did.
Rowland wasted a perfectly hot beat so she could vogue and try to be seductive for 3 minutes. Check out this hot mess:
Then I saw Ciara's video and realized she's so busy trying to be sexy that she half-assed the dance moves.
So I guess what I'm really trying to say is why are these artists selling sex instead of their music?
