Um, Hannah Montana's concert--NOT A MOVIE--was #1 at the box office this weekend. It made $29 mil. That must make Jessica Alba, whose movie The Eye came in 2nd, feel like shit. Needless to say, the critics weren't feeling it. But the fact that Over Her Dead Body came in at #11 with $4.6 mil, and that Eva Longoria is officially not bankable, should make Alba feel better. And to no one's suprise Strange Wilderness only made $3 mil and didn't even place in the top 10.
Next week Vince Vaughn's Wild West Comedy Show premieres. If that's number one, then it'll be quite an interesting part of history when two of the top 1o in the box office aren't even scripted films. I know I'll be watching In Bruges with the surprisingly funny Colin Farrell. Also premiering are the adventure romantic comedy Fool's Gold, another comedy from Martin Lawrence called Welcome Home Roscoe Jenkins, and the lame ass sure-to-be low on the list "comedy" The Hottie and the Nottie.
