Apparently,
Jonah Hill won't be starring alongside
Shia Labeouf in the
Transformers sequel. There are no details--just that "negotations broke down." I don't know what that means. But that leaves room for speculation. Maybe
Hill didn't want to play yet another sidekick. Maybe he saw that his lines weren't that funny. Maybe
Labeouf didn't want a sidekick that was funnier than him. Maybe they offered him chump change. Maybe they didn't have really good sidekick chemistry. Then again, if
Chris Tucker and
Jackie Chan have chemistry--two people who barely speak the same language--then I think any two people can.
What do you think went down?
I don't know if this is a fake or not but if it's true, I told you guys so. I had posted on another thread like this and I said the comedy should be kept at a minimum and not in every scene. This movie is serious and big to have someone come in and make it into a comedy. This is about the Autobots and the Decepticons fighting each other. Hence the title "Transformers".
