Normally plots in which adults have to survive in educational settings, like high school and college, are over done. Classic examples of how it's done right are Rodney Dangerfield's Back to School or Adam Sandler's Billy Madison--or even how it's done girly is Drew Barrymore's Never Been Kissed.
Next year, Zac Efron and Matthew Perry's Seventeen Again will attempt the fish-out-of-water topic, as well as another comedy called Home Schooled. In this one, a 30-year-old man who has been home schooled all his life is about to start college. You can imagine how inexperienced he is in social situations. But for that ineptitude to be clear, they have to cast someone with comedic chops who isn't too attractive. Got any suggestions?
