FILM: Lindsay Lohan's got "Labor Pains"

Lindsay Lohan may be in the press for her sexual preferences lately, but she's also managed to actually get a few acting roles--even though they're a bit C-list.

She's about to get started on Dare to Love Me, a romantic musical where she'll play opposite the Italian actor Raoul Bova ("The Company"). Who knew she could sing? No, Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen doesn't count. Then she'll get started on the comedy Ye Old Times where two rival Medieval shows will compete in the world of Renaissance Faires. It does sound lame, but Jack Black and David Arquette are in it, which...could amount to something.

The latest project she's signed on for is the romantic comedy Labor Pains. You guessed it! It's yet another pregnancy storyline to be cooked up in Hollywood since the recent slew that encompassed Knocked Up, Juno, and Baby Mama. This time around it's about "an assistant, working in an uptight publishing house, who fakes a pregnancy to avoid her overbearing boss from sacking her." She not only gets to keep her job, but a few other perks thrown in. It'll also star Chris Parnell ("SNL"), Luke Kirby ("Tell Me You Love Me") and Connie Britton ("Friday Night Lights").

Maybe after she pays her dues some more, they'll give her something to really work with.
