TV: ABC's new series "Prince of Motor City"

ABC has a new series in the works called "Prince of Motor City."

It has an ensemble cast which consists of Aidan Quinn ("Canterbury's Tale"), Rutger Hauer (Blade Runner), Piper Perabo (Because I Said So), Andie MacDowell (Michael), Sharon Lawrence ("Hidden Palms"), John Carroll Lynch ("K-Ville"), Warren Christie ("October Road"), and Morris Chestnut (The Game Plan).

It seems Christie impressed someone at ABC during his evil stint on "October Road," since he scored the lead in this Hamlet-inspired story about a Harvard professor who has to take over his estranged father's auto company after he dies in an accident. Quinn will play his under-appreciated uncle and Hauer will play his father, who appears to him as a ghost. Hmm.

Will you watch?
