Normally, in an alien sci-fi movie, green bobble-headed creatures invade Earth. In Joe Stillman's (Shrek) animated film Planet 51, a human astronaut invades the planet of little green people. The dunce thinks he's the first person to step on its soil and, you know, do that whole "One small step for man, one giant leap for mankind" thing. But his little moment of discovery gets interrupted when one of natives kindly informs him that the planet is already inhabited. They live in a white picket fence community that has an awful resemblance to America's 50s. You know, bowling shirts, sweater vests, etc. Naturally, they're afraid of this invader, so they try to capture him and he--with the help of a new little green friend--tries to recover his ship and escape.
Voicing the astronaut is Dwayne Johnson (The Game Plan), while the aliens will be voiced by Jessica Biel, Justin Long, Gary Oldman, Sean William Scott, and John Cleese.
