Hilary Swank was never a romantic comedy/dramedy kind of actress. She left that to the Sandra Bullocks and Julia Roberts of the industry. But ever since she starred in P.S. I Love You last Christmas, it seems like she's taking a different direction with her career. While it's true that she's presently shooting the biopic Amelia that tells the story of the legendary pilot Earhart, she's also dipping her foot into producing.
One of her first projects will be Karen Yampolsky's adapted debut novel Falling Out of Fashion, which is about "a young woman who leaves a hippie commune in Georgia to become a magazine editor in New York."
