• "Gossip Girl": Nate and Blair are going to kiss. Serena's going to start dating a very mature Euro socialite who's been all over the world. If you remember, Serena used to talk about how she wanted to take a year off of school and travel the world. He's practically perfect for her. Unfortunately, her storyline is ripped from the gossip headlines. Apparently, her relationship will be similar to what Anne Hathaway went through with her money laundering boyfriend. The only difference is that Serena will be in even worse trouble--so much that she and Blair will have to ask Georgina to get her out of it.
• "Gossip Girl" spinoff: Confessions of a Shopaholic's Krysten Ritter will play young Lily's troubled big sister.
• "Smallville": Lois will try to catch the Red Blue-Blur by pretending to be a superhero called Stiletto. And Chloe will hide Doomsday..and bring him human snacks...as in, made out of humans.
• Inspired by the fandom behind Twilight, CW greenlit another supernatural teen drama adaptation, "Vampire Diaries." It's about "a tragic young heroine who is the object of passion for two vampire brothers -- one good, one evil -- who are at war for her soul and for the souls of her friends, family and other residents of the small town in which she resides."
• TNT's "Leverage" was renewed for another season, which I think is ridiculous, since it really isn't all that entertaining.
• The CW is pushing up the season finale of "Privileged" to Feb. 24th, which doesn't bode well for the freshman series since it hasn't been greenlit for a second season yet. Once it's over, "Reaper" will premiere, pushing "90210" to 9pm.
• Watch a preview of Benjamin McKenzie ("The O.C.") on NBC's new cop drama "Southland."
