NEW ARTIST: Never Shout Never

This morning I saw this top 10 list of Artists to Watch in 2010 on Fuse (or VH1?) and I heard this song "Can't Stand It" by Never Shout Never, 19-year-old Missourian musician Christofer Drew Ingle.

The Beatles-looking, Jason Mraz/Rooney-sounding, pop musician has actually been around for a while. According to Wikipedia, in 2008 he built a following on MySpace before releasing the EP Yippee! and appearing on "TRL" to perform "Bigcitydreams." Last year, he toured with a few indie bands, signed with Warner Bros. Records after a major label bidding war, and released his fourth EP The Summer, using the single "Happy" to promote it. Doesn't he sound like he'd sing perfectly with Colbie Caillat?

His official album, What is Love?, produced by Butch Walker, who's worked with All-American Rejects, Fall Out Boy, Weezer, and Dashboard Confessional, was released in late January. The album may have gone from #24 to #101 in just one week, but he's definitely got an interesting sound our current radio stations are devoid of.

Listen to "Trouble" where he's obsessing over a girl:

And watch the video for the adorably catchy "Can't Stand It."
