Trivia: His real name is Lonnie Rashid Lynn. He was forced to change his rap name Common Sense to Common after being sued for the name by a ska band in '95. He was engaged to singer Erykah Badu and he has a daughter.
Where you've seen him...in crime action comedies and dramas Smokin' Aces, American Gangster, Street Kings, Wanted, Terminator Salvation, and Date Night.
Where to see him: He's playing an injured basketball player who has to choose between his money-grubbing trophy wife (Paula Patton from Precious and Deja Vu) and his sports-loving physical therapist (Queen Latifah).
Up next: He hasn't signed on for another film yet, but producers will soon decide if he's worth investing in once they see his first starring role. In the mean time, he'll probably continue recording music.

Where you've seen him...for 8 years on "SNL" as some seriously disturbed characters and unfortunately alongside Will Arnett in the lame comedy The Brothers Solomon.
Where to see him: He'll star in the skit-to-film MacGuyver action comedy spoof MacGruber with Kristen Wiig and Ryan Phillippe as his partners, and Val Kilmer as the villain.
