This might be premature, but I'm going to go ahead and say it anyway: Luke Wilson might have just found his way back.
Middle Men is the fictional story of how three guys figured out how to create the most profitable business on the Internet: online porn—and how they managed to get themselves into a lot of trouble while doing it. The story is interesting for two reasons: 1) the high-stakes involvement of politicians and 2) their inevitable monetary downfall.
Now while this isn't the type of film I'd see at the movies, since I imagine there's plenty of T+A for the gentlemen that I'll want to fast-forward through, it is the type that might bring Wilson back to form. He's no longer the passive, mellow character he's been embodying for the last few excruciating films, but the brains of the operation. It's about time.
Cast: Luke Wilson, Giovanni Ribisi (Avatar), Gabriel Macht (The Spirit), James Caan ("Las Vegas"), Kelsey Grammer ("Frasier"), Terry Crews (Gamer), and Laura Ramsey (The Covenant and She's the Man).
