CAST: Aaron Echkart (Dark Knight), Michelle Rodriguez (Avatar), Bridget Moynahan ("Blue Bloods" and I, Robot), Michael Pena (Crash), Noel Fisher ("The Riches"), Ramon Rodriguez (Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen), Jim Parrick ("True Blood"), Ne-Yo (Stomp the Yard), and many more.
VERDICT: I can't wait to see this! Ever since District 9, I've been pumped for war-like alien movies, which is basically the point. This is District 9 from the perspective of the army, specifically the American army, instead of from the perspective of the aliens and one human sympathizer. It may have been done before but really aims to put you in the thick of it. To make you feel like you're apart of the war, like this could happen some day. It both shows you what war feels like and makes you grateful that it's never happened on our soil in our lifetime. And, unlike other alien invasion films like Independence Day or Transformers, there's no guarantee that this will end in our favor. Add in the fact that two of my favorite underrated actors Michelle Rodriguez and Noel Fisher are apart of the cast and I'm good to go.
