FILM STRIP: Justin Timberlake's initiation

It's a bonafide fact in Hollywood that you haven't quite made it (or ever will make it) until you've been dragged through a heeping pile of elephant dung, set ablaze, and doused with gasoline...the good kind, Deisel. So, it must've been a total relief for Justin Timberlake when his first feature film Edison Force went straight to video. He had great company on set, Morgan Freeman and Kevin Spacey, but I guess trusting a guy who wrote the screenplay for the brief TV show "La femme Nikita" to write and direct the film wasn't the best idea. Luckily, Timberlake's second feature film, Alpha Dog, was directed by Nick Cassavettes, who directed John Q and The Notebook, and wrote the screenplay for Blow. The plot is based on a true story and it has controversy. If this goes straight to video, then...let's be honest...it'll be on the top 10 most rented list, because every chick who's ever loved him and N'sync will rent it in a matter of miliseconds.
