FILM STRIP: Scarlett's got the "Scoop"

It's no wonder Woody Allen's got a special place in his bank account for Scarlett Johansson. In the comedy Scoop, her second feature film with the Hollywood legend, she plays a reporter out to get the scoop on a possible serial killer, coming off as Woody Allen with breasts. She's got the faint Allen mannerisms and comic timing, with a reserved Jewish girl locked up inside of her. After watching the trailer at www.aol.movies.com, I realized Johansson just might be the starlet everyone's made her out to be. Usually she has a distant, staccato performance of an attractive young woman, with an oblivious sexual air about her. But in Scoop, she's a completely different person. This kid's got promise.
