FILM: Hermione calls it quits!!!

It's rumored that Emma Watson will no longer play Hermione after Harry Potter: The Order of the Phoenix. There are a number of possibilities for why she wouldn't want to do it anymore:

1. She doesn't want to forever be remembered as the girl who played Hermione. (Although she will forever be remembered as the person who destroyed Harry Potter's continuity.)
2. She wants a raise.
3. She dated one of the cast members (probably Ron) and now wants to get as far away from his as possible.

I'm leaning towards number 3. Anyway, AOL had the clever idea to propose who should replace her if the rumor is true. Here's there list:

1. Katie Boland: She looks more like that weird girl Luna Lovegood
2. Sarah Bolger (Storm breaker): she's too pretty


3. Emily Browning (Lemony Snicket): [above] she has very beautiful eyes and looks too similar to Cho Chang



4. Rachel Hurd-Wood (Peter Pan): She looks more like Ginny


5. Brie Larson (Hoot & Sleepover): She's entirely too blonde and pretty and tall and thin. She's like Witch Barbie.
6. Jojo (Aquamarine & RV): Seriously? She can act, but she sounds more ghetto than British.


7. Ellen Page (Hard Candy & X-Men: Last Stand): She looks she could kill Malfoy with one look. In fact, she looks more like she should be Malfoy's girlfriend than Ron's.


8. Danielle Panabaker (Sky High & Yours, Mines, and Ours): She's way too mature for Ron.


9. Anna Popplewell (Chronicles of Narnia): She's too much woman for Ron, but at the same time she doesn't look assertive enough to out-argue him.

10. Emma Roberts (Aquamarine): Okay, I'd buy her as Hermione. She seems timid, but underneath she'd tear you a new one if you questioned her authority. Plus, Julia Roberts, her aunt, could school her on the accent.


11. Alia Shawkat ("Arrested Development"): Again, she's way too much woman for Ron.


12. Alexa Vega (Spy Kids & Sleepover): She just doesn't look in the least bit British.



13. Evan Rachel Wood (Thirteen): First of all, she would never do the movie because she's an indie whore. Secondly, she looks way too mature for Ron.

On their online poll (that randomly includes Lindsay Lohan--please God don't destroy the movie), it seems that Panabaker, Bolger, Hurd-Wood, Roberts, and Jojo are in the lead, in that order. Lohan landed in 6th position, with Shawkat in dead last.
