It's been a while since I've had new music. Here's my new playlist:
"Kiss Kiss" by Chris Brown
Perfect to pop to.
"Don't stop the music" by Rihanna
It's got that Bloodhound Gang "Mama Say" back beat that's always great for a crazy club night.
"Boyz" by M.I.A
Just as amazed as you are that mixing India with hip hop would make for hip shaking music that transcends borders.
"Apologize" by One Republic
I've never heard of this artist, but the vocals kind of remind me of Daniel Bedingfield and Elliott Yamin mixed together--raspy, but soothing. The song is sad, but the composition is so well-done you can't help but feel entranced by the emotion.
"Soulmate" by Natasha Bedingfield
I was watching an episode of "The Hills" and this song was playing and I really liked it. It's a very honest inquiry as to why people are lonely if there's a soulmate for everyone.
"Hold On" by KT Tunstall
Her music always reminds me of the quirkiness and adventurous nature of the lead character in "Men in Trees." Since I love the show, I'm really liking this song. The video's pretty funny too.
