TRAILER: The House Bunny

Anna Faris seems to be getting short-changed lately, filling the dumb-blonde spots that Jenny McCarthy, Pamela Anderson, and Carmen Electra usually get. Her only advantage is that she's a better actress and she's a lot funnier. I had high hopes for her when I read that she would be in Mama's Boy with Diane Keaton, Jon Heder, and Sarah Chalke ("Scrubs"). But then it was given a limited release last November and no press. Then my hopes re-rose when I saw she was co-starring with Topher Grace in Kids in America.

But then I saw the trailer below for the movie House Bunny, where she plays a Playboy playmate who gets kicked out of the mansion because she's too old and decides to become a hen mother to a dorky sorority and turn the misfits into hotties. So think of it like The Hottie and the Nottie meets Sydney White with a touch of Legally Blonde and even a little Sorority Boys. And if you haven't seen any of these movies, I doubt you'll want to see this one. Also starring are Emma Stone (Superbad), Kat Dennings (Charlie Bartlett), Colin Hanks (Untraceable), Katherine McPhee ("American Idol"), and Rumer Willis (Demi & Bruce's love spawn). Feast your eyes:
