When I first heard Rihanna's latest single "Take a Bow" I thought it was really juvenile. Especially, when she talks in the middle of the lyrics. But after watching the video, I realized that she's trying to do two things: 1) a revenge song like Beyonce's "Irreplaceable," which was also written by Ne-Yo, and 2) remind everyone that she can sing. I have to admit that I like the song better now that I've seen the video--I can process the emotions better. But I still think the abrupt talking is weird. Listen for yourself:
