Alright, so it's not Spiderman or Superman or even a hero with the suffix of -man, but Michael Cera does get to fight off bad guys and save a damsel in distress.
Bryan Lee O'Malley's graphic novel Scott Pilgrim vs. the World is an adventure romance about a kid who can only win the heart of the girl of his dreams (Mary Elizabeth Winstead) if he defeats her seven evil ex-boyfriends. Edgar Wright (Hot Fuzz and Shaun of the Dead) is directing.
