TRAILER: The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor

Ah, the third installment of The Mummy franchise, subtitled Tomb of the Dragon Emperor, has finally arrived. However, it isn't exactly like its predecessors. It may have Brendan Fraser and John Hannah (Evie's brother) on board, but Maria Bello (History of Violence) took over for Rachel Weisz, their son (played by newcomer Luke Ford) is now in his late teens, Michelle Yeoh (Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon) takes the place of Oded Fehr as the native ally, and it no longer takes place in Egypt. The new action packed CGI-laden flick is set in Asia where Jet Li plays the feared mummy who raises his army from the dead. The trailer shows promise, what with the 300-like battle scenes and the three-headed dragon, but I don't think it'll have the same dynamic. It was the chemistry between all the characters that was half the fun. And it doesn't help that the previous director, Stephen Sommers, was replaced with Rob Cohen (xXx and Stealth). Decide for yourself:
