FILM: Rupert Grint in "Cherrybomb"

It's been two years since Rupert Grint has starred in a non-Harry Potter film. The indie dramedy Driving Lessons may have received mixed reviews, but at least Grint got to showcase his range. His fans are accustomed to seeing him be the butt of several jokes, as well as consistently frightened or peeved.

But in his latest venture, Cherrybomb, they'll get to see him portray a darker and more realistic character. The story follows two friends "whose furious competition for a beautiful but manipulative girl (Kimberley Nixon from the upcoming Wild Child) has tragic consequences." Irish newcomer Robert Sheehan will play his opponent.

Will you watch?
