TV: Recasting on "Desperate Housewives" & Eva Gains Weight

I thought that one of the many advantages of jumping ahead five years was that they no longer had to explain why Lynette's twin boys were so tall. But apparently, they've recast all four of her kids.

Joshua Moore (Parker), Charles and Max Carver (Porter and Preston) and Kendall Applegate (Penny) will take over the roles. All three sons will be teenagers and Penny will be 8 or 9 years old. No word on who'll replace Rachel G. Fox as the evil Kayla, but they'll have to because she's about to turn thirteen and she's supposed to be older than the boys.

On other news, Perez reports that Eva Longoria gained some weight to play a worn out mother on "DH" this season. She'll even be wearing pads to make her seem out of shape.
