Shakira and Wyclef Jean have developed another collaboration. "Hips Don't Lie," their first from 2006, was deeply rooted in their reggae and Colombian beat backgrounds. It kept everyone dancing through the summer. This new collabo is very heavy in the techno pop but still has a little Latina around the edges. It might have to grow on you, but it's guaranteed to get you moving.
(Sorry for the stupid voice-over interruption. It keeps getting pulled off of youtube.)
On her upcoming album for later this year, she's rumored to have also collaborated with Pharrell Williams and Calle 13. It seems she's going for a new sound and I can't wait to hear it.
