Do you remember the youngest sibling in that testosterone-filled vengeance film Four Brothers? No? Ok, do you remember the sneaky, dark-haired ally in Eragon? No? Um, ok. The sex-crazed religious kid that falls in love with Lindsay Lohan's character after getting his first blow job in Georgia Rule?
Disney has picked 24-year-old, up-and-comer Garrett Hedlund to star in Tron 2.0, the studio's sequel to the 1982 cult classic. Ryan Gosling, Chris Pine (Star Trek), and Michael Stahl-David (Cloverfield) were originally in the running. "Hedlund will play the lead, a man who finds himself pulled into the world of a computer and retracing the steps of a character from the original movie named Kevin Flynn." Jeff Bridges is reprising the role of Flynn, who was a computer programer but ended up as the CEO of a software corporation. Olivia Wilde ("House" and "The O.C.") and Beau Garrett (4: Rise of the Silver Surfer) have also been cast in the project. I'm sure many Tron fans are excited about the reboot, but I wonder if they're as keen on the casting.
