TRAILER: Tom Hardy & Joel Edgerton's "Warrior" (2011)

PLOT: The youngest son (Hardy) of an alcoholic former boxer (Nolte) returns home from war, where he's trained by his father for competition in a mixed martial arts tournament—a path that puts the fighter on a collision course with his older brother (Edgerton), who abandoned him when they were kids.

CAST: Tom Hardy (Inception), Joel Edgerton (Animal Kingdom), Nick Nolte, Jennifer Morrison ("House"), Frank Grillo ("The Gates")

VERDICT: This, I have to be honest with you, is what I would've preferred to have seen with the cast of The Fighter. Not one brother growing envious of the other or having to shed the other to survive, but two equally formidable brothers going head-to-head for a knock-down, drag-out fight. However, the only person in this cast that I'm interested in seeing is Hardy, so I'm not completely sold on it.
