FILM: "Superbad" Spinoff

The director of Superbad, Greg Mottola, is gearing up to film another movie with Bill Hader (Forgetting Sarah Marshall) that is sort of a spinoff from his previous film.

The story is about a doorman who tries to uncover a scam that's being played out on one of the tenants. But of course, being underqualified, it turns into a sort of detective spoof--as though the idiotic cops from Superbad were the ones on the job.

At the moment, Mottola and Hader are wrapping up another comedy, Adventureland. This sounds like the beginning of a beautiful friendship.
