Jimmy Smits' "Cane" may have been canceled, but he's already got another gig lined up. He'll have a 10-episode arc on "Dexter" this Fall as the "ambitious assistant district attorney who comes from a high-profile and powerful Miami family." Looking forward to seeing how he meshes with our resident serial killing-do gooder.
Because of the unfortunate exit of Michael Rosenbaum (Lex) and Kristin Kreuk (Lana), the producers of "Smallville" have renewed Justin Hartley's contract so that he can reprise his role as the Green Arrow and become a season regular. No word on whether Aaron Ashmore (the eternally loyal Jimmy Olsen) will be returning, but Laura Vandervoort (Clark's cousin Kara), Kreuk, and Rosenbaum will guest star a few times.
