When I first heard that Justin Theroux, who played a campy Irish/Scottish bad ass in Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle, has been tapped to write Iron Man 2, I was a little confused. While he has directed before, Mandy Moore and Billy Crudup's Dedication, he's only written one film. Granted, that film is the very much anticipated and seemingly hilarious Tropic Thunder.
But I can only determine how awesome Iron Man 2 will be after watching Robert Downey Jr. put on blackface and make an ass out of himself.
How about you? Do you think Theroux can pull it off? Or would you prefer the original writers, Mark Fergus and Hawk Ostby (Children of Men), to come back?
