• It turns out Izzie does have a brain-trauma on "Grey's Anatomy," which causes her to see Denny when it flares up. The producers have noticed that fans are getting antsy, so they're encouraging the writers to introduce the ailment sooner than planned, hoping we'll be a little less annoyed by the supernaturalish experience if we knew its medical origin. Personally, I just can't wait until Alex finds out what the brain-trauma produced. Of all the things she could be hallucinating, a la "Eli Stone," he'll probably be crushed that she chose Denny.
• Since Bryan Fuller's series "Pushing Daisies" will end soon, he'll be joining the writing staff of "Heroes" in the 20th episode of the season (the 11th just aired).
• For some bizarre reason, Nicholas Cage is going to play a wizard in search of an apprentice in modern day New York in The Sorcerer's Apprentice, and Jay Baruchel (Tropic Thunder)--that poor bastard--will play the lucky fellow who gets to study under him.
