According to EW's Ausiello, these shows have an extremely high likelihood of being cancelled. It's only a matter of days before it's announced:
"Cupid": Ouch! I was really enjoying this show. Bobby Cannavale is a hoot to watch and I was rooting for him to finally get a big break. But to be honest, there really isn't much chemistry between him and Sarah Paulson. She's a little too uptight and frigid and...not his type.
Officially Cancelled!
"Everybody Hates Chris": I've never seen this series, but that kid Tyler James Williams was hilarious in Unaccompanied Minors. He has a great future ahead of him.
Officially Cancelled!
"Harper's Island": I had no intentions of watching it, but I really thought people would want to see an Agatha Christie-meets-Saw murder mystery every week. Go figure.
Officially Cancelled!
"In the Motherhood": I really had high hopes that it would be funnier. The concept was funny. I don't know what went wrong.
Officially Cancelled!
"Kath & Kim": I couldn't even watch five minutes of this series. I think Molly Shannon is a funny lady, but I just could not endure it for her.
Officially Cancelled!
"Kings": I've already expressed my love for this series and how it should be moved to Fridays and paired up with "Southland," but it's sort of hard to get into it half way through, so a few late viewers won't understand the appeal. It's the rise and fall of two kings. It's like history in the making, and an in depth look at human nature in regards to the hunger for power, respect, and adoration. You gotta love it.
Officially Cancelled!
"Knight Rider": That was still on?
Officially Cancelled!
"Prison Break": Its time is up. I get that. I'm just glad it's getting a proper ending, complete with a look into the future by the end of the season finale.
Officially Cancelled!
"Reaper": The lead actors make a funny trio and even the devil has you laughing, but I guess CW viewers prefer their demons mean, like in "Supernatural," as opposed to humorous. I personally just enjoy watching Rick Gonzalez and Tyler Labine make asses out of themselves week-after-week.
Officially Cancelled!
"Sit Down, Shut Up": I...can't watch cartoons anymore. I just can't. Adult cartoons is also a genre that's extremely difficult to master. "King of the Hill" is about to be retired, leaving "Family Guy" and "The Simpsons" the last ones standing. But next season, we'll be introduced to "Cleveland" and it'll face the same hard criticism. Can it live up to the reigning two's legacy?
Officially Cancelled!
Yay Reaper! Thanks for the good words about this show. We fans are still up for fighting for this show at reaperdmv.com. Join us! Write to ABC and the CW, sign a petition. And yes, I like a lot of these other shows too, darn it.
ReplyDeleteCupid cancelled? Boy, they do hire a lot of incompetent people at ABC. I do agree with the Kings, and the rest of "picks". They DO suck. How about adding "Brothers and Sisters" or "Surviving Suburbia" to the bunch. Cupid IS funny, entertaing, has great cast, and talks about the only one thing that EVERYBODY wants: LOVE. So... ABC wants to kill one of the biggest hits... FOX will probably be more than happy to steal it.
ReplyDeletePlease don't get rid of Cupid! It's one of the few shows left I actually life! Come on ABC you cancelled way to many good shows aleady (Big Shots, October Road, Cashmere Mafia?????)
