FILM: Comic/SciFi/Action Film News

Bond 22
Like I told you last week, Gemma Arterton isn't the main Bond girl. But it turns out they didn't go for a South American girl after all. Even though Hitman sucked (ass), fanboys must've loved the female lead, Ukranian actress Olga Kurylenko, because she's been tapped to play Bond's main love interest. According to certain sources, she will help Bond get over Vesper's betrayal from Casion Royale, and Arterton will just play a fellow MI6 agent.

Jennifer's Body
Diablo Cody is wasting no time with her newfound fame and is already writing a story about a girl who becomes possessed by a demon and starts to eat all the boys in her town. Who better to star than the insatiable Transformers' star Megan Fox. Check out this detailed description of the script.

In comic adaptation news...the remodel of The Incredible Hulk--switching Eric Bana for Edward Norton--will have a cameo from Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.), where he meets with General Thunderbolt, the a-hole who's trying to kill the Hulk. And Iron Man will have a cameo from Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson), who is a WWII vet turned spy.

G.I. Joe

Marlon Wayans is officially attached, but Joseph Gordon-Levitt is still in negotiations.
In case you've never understood the mission of these famous 80s toys, here's the film's plot: "A European-based military unit known as Global Integrated Joint Operating Entity (G.I.J.O.E.), a hi-tech, international force of special operatives takes on an evil organization led by a notorious arms dealer."

Neuromancer
This book is known for being one of the first cyberpunk science fiction novels that had a cult following. It follows a hacker, who is going to be played by Hayden Christensen (Star Wars), that betrays his employers and is punished by being poisoned. The effects disable his ability to be as talented as he was, so he resorts to hustling on the dystopian streets of Japan. A mysterious company known as Armitage sends a "street samurai" to retrieve him and offer a cure in return for his services. After doing what they ask, they cure him, but also implant sacks of the same poison into his body, explaining that if he doesn't finish another job they'll burst. They even sweeten the pot, offering to cure him of his drug addiction and replace any body parts that have been damaged by it. Thus, he's permanently their property. But while he's under their spell, he searches for their hidden agenda, which manifests in the form of a super-Artificial Intelligence entity that they're secretly constructing--half of which derives from the consciousness of a murdered hacker.
