CRUSHWORTHY: Eric Balfour on "Haven"

Where you've seen him: As Xander's vamp-turned bff on "Buffy, the Vampire Slayer," Claire's screwed up high school boyfriend on "Six Feet Under," a...victim in The Texas Chainsaw Massacre remake, Ryan's competition for Theresa on "The O.C.," a security consultant on "24," Eva Mendes' husband in The Spirit, and...let's be honest, pretty much naked in several provocative photo shoots available for your googling pleasure.

Why he's Crushworthy: He's the stick-it-to-the-man rebel who is just dying to be reformed by a no-bullshit kind of girl. Add the scruffy goatee, the tall, thin stature, and his smart ass grin and you've got yourself a bad boy.

CRUSHWORTHY: James Callis from "Eureka"

Where you've seen him: As the title character's gay bff in Bridget Jones's Diary, a doctor on "Battlestar Galactica," an autistic savant on "Flashforward," and most recently a scientist pulled from the past on Syfy's "Eureka."

Why he's Crushworthy: It's like if Don Draper-turned-private-eye was transported to the future—the slow dramatic drawl, the confident demeanor, the dapper suits, the squinty reflections, the forthright flirtation, and the quaint 40s colloquialisms. He's the only guy who can call a woman's legs "gams" and refer to her affectionately as a "dame," and not seem like an archaic misogynist. And to think, Callis could be even dreamier if he used his British accent.

Where you can see him next: He just wrapped the indie comedy Meet Pursuit Delange, and it's looking like he's a permanent part of "Eureka" now that it seems impossible for him to return to the past.

CRUSHWORTHY: Ben Bass from "Rookie Blue"

Where you've seen him: On the series "The Eleventh Hour" and most recently on ABC's "Rookie Blue."

Why he's Crushworthy: You know that guy that you know you're not supposed to like? That guy who seems angry at the world, incapable of normal human interaction, and acts like sarcastic is his default setting? Well Bass makes that guy lovable. Plus, his character's budding affection for Andy is adorable, as are his puppy-dog eyes and smart ass cop advice. He has a superiority complex that masks an inferiority complex, making him so complex, you just can't help but become entranced by his inner turmoil.


Where you can see him next: The series is doing well and with any luck we'll get to see more of the rule-breaking cop next summer.

CRUSHWORTHY: Noam Jenkins from "Rookie Blue"

Where you've seen him: As a recurring character in the Saw series, a nosy cop on "Covert Affairs," and most recently a detective on ABC's "Rookie Blue."

Why he's Crushworthy: He's got this smooth way about him, like he could convince you to do whatever he wants. Except he's a cop, so he uses his powers for good...most of the time. Generally, detectives that are dating rookies are married pervs looking for some inexperienced tail on the side. But he's single, committed, and malleable. He makes an effort. Whenever he flubs, he makes up for it. Whenever he sees a potential barrier in the relationship, he maturely addresses it. She has a kid, so he makes it clear that he likes kids. She doesn't want everyone to know about their relationship, so he keeps it discreet. She wants to work dangerous beats, so he tries his hardest not to hinder her career. It's literally gotten to the point where women in the world find "trying" sexy, because quitting never will be.

Where you can see him next: You can see him this Halloween in Saw 3D.

CRUSHWORTHY: Jason Wiles from "Persons Unknown"

Where you've seen him: As Colin on "Beverly Hills, 90210" and a cop on "Third Watch."

Why he's Crushworthy: His tortured soul act is endearing. Even though his buzz cut and five o'clock shadow scream inmate, you can see the kindness and compassion in his eyes. He's the reluctant anti-hero, driven by blind faith and confounded by love.

Where you can see him next: According to IMDb, he's set for Boston's Finest. But since NBC has moved his series to Saturdays, a.k.a the Dead Zone, maybe he'll get a second chance on another gritty crime series, like "Fringe," "Dexter," or "Justified."

CRUSHWORTHY: Christopher Gorham from "Covert Affairs"

Where you've seen him: As the main character's bff on "Popular," the nerd-turned-spy in the short-lived "Jake 2.0," the adorable accountant on "Ugly Betty," and most recently the blind handler on USA's "Covert Affairs."

Why he's Crushworthy: Gorham's awe-shucks demeanor has always been one of his greatest selling points. He usually plays the guy you want to be best friends with, because he's too-good-to-be true—bashful and sweet, but courageous. In his new series, however, he's stepping into more of a self-assured role. He's no longer push-over Henry. He's confident. He's stubborn. He's a trained government agent without all the clumsiness and foibles. Sure, he's technically the computer guy, but you get the feeling that even though he's blind, he could totally kick your ass. He's like the modern spy, but still suave, persuasive, and lethal.

Where you can see him next: He's starring in the rom-com My Girlfriend's Boyfriend with Alyssa Milano, the rom-com Answer This with Arielle Kebbel (The Grudge 2), the adventure comedy Somebody's Hero, and the thriller The Ledge with Patrick Wilson, Liv Tyler, Terrence Howard, and Charlie Hunnam ("Sons of Anarchy").

CRUSHWORTHY: Zane Holtz from "Make It or Break It"

Where you've seen him: As a juvenile delinquent named Barfbag in Holes, a model in several fashion magazines, and an obnoxious gymnast on ABC Family's "Make It or Break It."

Why he's Crushworthy: First of all, he looks like soccer champion Cristiano Ronaldo's American love child. Secondly, his cocky bravado is not only warranted, because he is one badass gymnast, but frustrating, because he's acting like a know-it-all, because he actually knows it all. Smart, athletic, and confident are a dangerous combination in a bad boy.

Where you can see him next: He's just way too good at being a bad boy for no one to grab him up for another teen series or film if things should not work out between him and Kaylie.

CRUSHWORTHY: Coby Bell from "Burn Notice"

Where you've seen him: As a cop on "Third Watch," a cheap football player on "The Game," and most recently as the agent Michael burned on "Burn Notice."

Why he's Crushworthy: It's probably a mix of his mischievous grin, his character's noble efforts to always save the day, and the way his tough guy act crumbles whenever Fi enters the room.

Where you can see him next: Unless he figures out what Michael did and let's it slide in the next two episodes, I'm pretty sure he'll be back next summer to go head-to-head with our dear Mr. Weston.

CRUSHWORTHY: Nolan Gerard Funk from "Warehouse 13"

Where you've seen him: As the bad boy singer in Spectacular, Nickelodeon's answer to High School Musical, and Claudia's oblivious boyfriend on "Warehouse 13."

Why he's Crushworthy: Not only can he sing a lot better than most actors who star in teen musicals...




...but he managed to convince Syfy fans that he was worthy of the cooler-than-cool Claudia, who, up to this point, was more interested in science than she was boys. Who could blame her? He's a perfect example of why some girls have a glasses fetish. Visual impairment has never looked so good.

Where you can see him next: He's starring in the horror thriller Bereavement.

CRUSHWORTHY: Ari Stidham from "Huge"

Where you've seen him: As the guitar-playing music-lover on "Huge."

Why he's Crushworthy: Underneath a mop of curls and glasses, he plays your A-typical dorky loner. He's mesmerized by the most popular girl in camp and oblivious to the soulmate he's found in his female best friend Will. Even though you want to conk him on the head for not realizing what's right in front of him, you can't help but sympathize with his unrequited love, because he represents the insecure kid in all of us. And in spite of his insecurities, he's talented, funny, and sweet. He's the one you marry, not the one you regret. Oh and did I mention that he can sing?



Where you can see him next: Hopefully in teen and indie movies to come.

CRUSHWORTHY: Ian Harding from "Pretty Little Liars"

Where you've seen him: As a preppie in the indie Adventureland and as the Katy Perry teen-dream-equivalent for girls everywhere on "Pretty Little Liars."

Why he's Crushworthy: Let me start off by saying that while he may look like he's in his early 30s, he's actually 23. I'm older than he is, which decreases the perv factor of pretending to date a high school student tremendously. Then there's his broody five o'clock shadow visage, his non-sleazy, non-sex-crazed character, and everything about him that screams boy-next-door. He's like James Marsden (27 Dresses) meets Matt Long ("Jack & Bobby"). I give him five years before he starts poaching Hugh Dancy and Matthew Goode's roles.

Where you can see him next: Since his character just got back together with Aria, I imagine another season of tension-filled clandestine meetings are in store for him. Of course, he could easily do guest spots on "Gossip Girl" or "Vampire Diaries" if producers caught sight of him.

CRUSHWORTHY: Diego Gonzalez from "Pretty Little Liars"

Where you've seen him: On "90210" as Adriana's popstar boyfriend and on "Pretty Little Liars" as Spencer's blue collar boyfriend.

Why he's Crushworthy: Not only is the 19-year-old Mexican actor an award-winning Latin singer, but he's reviving the young, sexy Latino role in Hollywood that went a little limp after Jay Hernandez dropped off everyone's radar.

Where you can see him next: He's been cast on the straight-to-DVD Mean Girls 2, and I'm sure you'll see him next summer on season 2 of "Pretty Little Liars."

CRUSHWORTHY: Matt Passmore from "The Glades"

Where you've seen him: On A&E's new light-hearted, summer, crime series "The Glades."

Why he's Crushworthy: The series, set in Florida, is basically a carbon copy of every kind of crime series you can think of, from "CSI: Miami" to "The Mentalist," which makes it incredibly boring...except for the part where Passmore's character Detective Longworth cleverly solves cases, cracks smart ass jokes, and plays male role model to a single mother's kid. The audience wanting to see him solve the crimes is the only thing that could sell this series, and while he's no Patrick Jane, the charming Aussie does manage to keep you awake.

Where you can see him next: The series will be on every Sunday night until September, and if it can manage to survive the summer and successfully compete against "Mad Men," he could very well follow in the footsteps of the several Aussies who came before him.

CRUSHWORTHY: Paul Iacono from "The Hard Times of RJ Berger"

Where you've seen him: He played the filmmaker in Fame and he's the star of the penis-envy MTV teen series "The Hard Times of RJ Berger."

Why he's Crushworthy: He was the best part of Fame. In a sea of generic characters, he was charismatic, funny, and interesting. While I'm not a fan of the crass nature of MTV's series, I think to score your own show at 21 with barely any Hollywood-cred is pretty impressive.

Where you can see him next: The series is still on till the end of the summer, and he'll be in the supporting cast of the historical crime drama No God, No Master with David Strathairn, Ray Wise, Mariana Klaveno (Lorena from "True Blood"), and Sam Witwer (Doomsday from "Smallville").

CRUSHWORTHY: David Walton from "100 Questions"

Where you've seen him: The web-turned-TV series "Quarterlife," the cheesy teen comedy Fired Up!, and most recently the short-lived and terribly unfunny NBC series "100 Questions."

Why he's Crushworthy: The 31-year-old Boston native managed to make the "Friends"-knockoff "100 Questions" somewhat bearable. He's sort of mirroring Bradley Cooper's career choices, getting pegged as the unbearable douchebag initially, then luring the viewer in as the lovable douchebag, and then mesmerizing us as a redeemable and reformed Casanova.



Where you can see him next: He'll appear as a DJ in Christina Aguilera's feature film debut, the music-themed romantic drama Burlesque.
